Friederike Krum is one of Germany's most versatile singers.

She studied opera singing under Professor Ingrid Kremling, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Brigitte Fassbaender.

She is a frequent visitor, both as ensemble performer and solo artist, to such famous venues as:

  • Schauspielhaus, Hamburg
  • Philharmonie, Cologne
  • Musik Festval Hall, Hamburg
Her repertoire also includes classical recitals and concerts of church music.

She has sung alongside stars such as:

  • Neil Shiccoff
at the Hamburg Opera Festival, where she was praised for her performance as 'Mercedes' in Carmen.

In starring roles such as Bella in "Beauty and the Beast", "Maria" in "West Side Story" and "Christine" in "Phantom der Oper", she has been an enormous success with both the public and critics alike.

Friederike is a popular starguest on many top television shows in Germany and has already been the subject of two documentary profiles.

She was asked to open Terminal 4 at Hamburg Airport as well as the Airport in Tokyo and has also performed in front of 60.000 people at the Hamburg football stadium.

Football legend Uwe Seeler choose her to sing at his 60st birthday celebration.

She now lives with her husband and two little children in London, where she recently recorded her latest CD of Gershwin classics.
